1 TB cornstarch
1 TB cold water
1/2 C white sugar
1/2 C soy sauce
1/4 C cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
12 skinless chicken thighs.

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cornstarch, cold water, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger and pepper. Let simmer, stirring frequently until thickened.

Preheat oven at 425º F.

Place chicken pieces in a baking dish. Pour sauce oven chicken. Make sure each piece is smothered.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hr minutes, covered in tin foil. Baste with sauce every 10 minutes. Turn over chicken pieces every 20 minutes.

Serve over rice and with vegetables.

Goes very well with a mild, creamy rice. We usually make sauteed broccoli to go with this.
