1 cup chopped dates
cup raisins
cup prunes
1 cup water
cup margarine (to substitute oil for margarine use cup oil less 1 Tbsp.)
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup whole wheat flour (can substitute cup bran for cup flour)
1 tsp. soda
cup nuts

In sauce pan, place dates, raisins, prunes and water. Boil 5 minutes. Stir in margarine and cool. Add remaining ingredients to fruit mixture. Stir until just moistened.

Put batter in either greased or lined muffin tin.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes
