Raisin Coffee Cake Recipe

2 c sifted flour
1 c sugar
3 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
5 1/2 tbsp butter or margarine
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 c or more seedless raisins
2/3 c milk
2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 c brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Well grease and flour a 9" x 2" pan
In a bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. With a pastry blender, or 2 knives, cut in the butter until the size of small peas. Blend in beaten eggs, raisins, and milk. Mix well.
Spread mixture into the baking pan. Spread the top with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Bake until golden brown or when cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool in pan on wire rack.
