Cherry Pudding Recipe

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 egg
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 large can Bing cherries, save juice
2 T. oleo, melted
For the sauce:
cherry juice
1/3 c. sugar
1 T. cornstarch
1 tsp. oleo

Drain cherries and save the juice. Mix all ingredients, bake in 9x9 inch pan at 325 for 45 minutes.

To make sauce in medium sauce pan; heat cherry juice, add sugar. Mix cornstarch with cold water, add to saucepan with oleo. Cook until thick. Cut pudding in squares. Serve with Cool Whip and sauce.
