2 stick butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
3 tbsp cocoa
½ tsp salt
1 cup water
2 Large eggs
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
walnuts, optional
½ cup sour cream

1 stick butter
6 tbsp milk
3 tbsp cocoa
1 lb powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil. Set aside. Pour in the next 4 ingredients and blend together. Add the last 3 ingredients. Pour the hot mixture over all of it slowly (so you don’t burn yourself)
Mix well and pour into a greased bar pan or cookie sheet
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes
While brownies are baking, make the frosting.

Boil the milk, butter, and the cocoa for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Frost brownies while they are still hot.

Personal Notes:
You may add walnuts to brownies if you like or just put them on the frosting. These are very moist and cake like.
