4 oz candied red cherries
4 oz candied green cherries
16 oz candied mixed fruit
4 oz candied pineapple
4 oz candied peels (if you like the taste)
1 c. light raisins
4 oz almonds
1/2 c. flour (to coat)
1 tbsp milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp almond extract
1/2 c. orange juice (or rum if desired)
1/2 c. coconut bits
8 oz butter
4 eggs
1 c. white sugar
2 c. flour

Add the candied fruit, raisins and almonds together with 1/2 c. flour to coat. In a separate bowl mix the milk, extracts, orange juice and coconut bits together. In a large bowl beat the butter, eggs and sugar until creamy. Add the coconut mixture, mix well. Add just under 2 c. flour, add the fruit, and blend well. Cook at 250 for 2 1/2 hours. Confirm it is done with a toothpick.
