1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) pineapple chunks - 2 T. reserved juice
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
2 slices fresh bread, crumbled
1 T. minced onion (instant)
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/8 tsp. allspice

1/3 c. reserved pineapple juice
1/2 c. ketchup
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed

Drain pineapple well, reserving juice. Mix together beef, egg, crumbs, onion, salt, cloves, allspice and syrup. Mold small amount of mixture around pineapple chunk. Place in a 8x12-inch dish. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on high 4 minutes. Pour off juices. Mix together 1/3 c. juice, ketchup and brown sugar. Pour over drained meatballs. Microwave 3-5 minutes longer until done. Serve over rice or noodles.
