2 c. fresh strawberries, mashed
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
3 c. miniature marshmallows
1 box yellow cake mix, prepared according to package directions

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Spread mashed strawberries on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Evenly sprinkle gelatin powder over top of strawberries; top with miniature marshmallows. Pour prepared cake batter over top. Bake until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately. 40 to 50 minutes. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Run a knife around the pan to loosen the sides; turn cake out onto serving tray.
