1 c soft butter 1 c confectioners sugar 2-1/2 c flour 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter and sugar until light. Sift flour and salt together. Add to creamed mixture with hands. Stir in vanilla. Shape into a roll and chill in refrigerator 4 hours or more. Slice thin. Bake in hot oven 400º for 8-10 min.
