Cherry Coconut Bars Recipe

1 cup flour
1/2 cup margarine
3 TB powdered sugar
2 egg whites, slightly beaten
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup maraschino cherries
4 TB cherry juice

Preheat oven to 350. Mix flour, margarine and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread into ungreased square pan and press down with fingers. Bake 25 minutes. Stir the rest of the ingredients into egg whites. Spread over top of baked pastry. Don't cool bake another 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
