2 medium sized onions, chopped
1/4 cu minced canned chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbs soy sauce
2 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp ground cumin
4 lbs pork spareribs or baby back ribs, cut into servings of 3-4 ribs, or country style ribs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the onions, chipotles, marmalade, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, and cumin in a medium sized bowl and mix until smooth; brush over both sides of the ribs. Arrange the ribs in the slow cooker, pouring over any extra sauce. If you have a round cooker, stack the ribs with the sauce in between the layers. Cover and cook on low until tender and the meat starts to separate from the bone, 8 - 10 hours. Serve immediately. Makes 6 - 8 servings.
