Lime Chiffon Dessert Recipe

1 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted


1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (3 oz) lime Jello
2 pkgs. (one 8 oz., one 3 oz.) cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
16 oz. container of Cool Whip, thawed

For the crust, combine graham crackers, 1/3 c. of sugar and margarine. Press into bottom of an ungreased 13X9 baking dish and set aside.

In a bowl, dissolve the Jello in boiling water; cool. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar. Add vanilla, mix well. Slowly add Jello until combined. Fold in whipped topping. Spoon over crust. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or until set.
