Snickerdoodles Recipe

1 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg

1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400

Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.

Combine butter and sugar and beat until fluffly. Add vanilla, beat in egg until well combined. Gradually add flour mixture and mix until just well combined.

Roll cookie dough into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar mixture and place on lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
