3/4 lb. good chopped round steak
3 slices of bread
1 small onion
1/2 tsp. salt
shake of pepper
1/2 level tsp. poultry seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Grate bread to crumbs. Add grated onion and salt, pepper and poultry seasoning, mix well. Break steak into small pieces and mix with above ingredients till well mixed by hand. On floured paper (or board) put ball of meat and cut in three. Form into balls and put out to oval size of a pancake using flour to help it from being sticky. Lay aside. In skillet saute one large onion sliced thin. When golded brown, remove from pan and place steaks in. Brown for 4 minutes on one side and turn and brown other side. Add sauted onion. Pour potato water from boiled potatoes in small pan and thicken with one heaped teas. of cornstarch mixed in cup with cold water to thin paste and add to potato water and cook for 3 minutes on low heat till consitency of gravy. Add to onions and steaks and warm up 3 minutes. Serve each steak with heaped of onions on top and a little gravy and serve rest of gravy in a small pitcher.
