Lemon Bread Recipe

c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. flour
tsp. salt
tsp. baking soda
c. sour cream

2 c. powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Few Tbsp. milk (till glaze reaches desired consistency)

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice; beat well. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream. Pour batter into greased loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes (or until toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean) While loaf cools on wire rack, combine glaze ingredients. Drizzle over warm bread.
