Almond Dream Bars Recipe

1 c. butter
2 c. flour
c. powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract

3 c. powdered sugar
c. butter, melted
3 Tbsp. Milk
2 tsp. almond extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix crust together until well blended and press into a 13x9 pan. Bake for 20 minutes.

While crust is baking cream together cream cheese, eggs, sugar and almond extract. Pour filling over crust while it is still hot and bake again for another 20 minutes at same temperature. Cool completely.

Blend all frosting ingredients together until creamy. Spread over cooled bars. Garnish with toasted almond slices.
