Brandied Shrimp Recipe

2 T. unsalted butter
1 T. olive oil
3 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 t. worcestershire sauce
1/8 t. Tobasco
1 T. chopped fresh oregano
salt and pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
2 T. brandy
3 T. chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

Melt the butter with the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring often, until it is fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in the shrimp, worc. sauce, Tobasco, oregano and salt and pepper and let simmer until shrimp are partially cooked through, about 2 minutes.

Stir in the ketchup and simmer until the shrimp are opaque and just cooked through, 2 more minutes. Add the brandy and parsley, stir to combine and serve.
