1 teaspoons oil
1 pounds lean beef cubed (or stewing beef)
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoons salt
teaspoon pepper

1 large onion
1 large can tomato sauce
6 small potatoes
6 small carrots
1 can garden peas

Put flour, salt and pepper in a plastic bag. Zip and shake together.
Place beef in bag and shake until coated with the flour mixture.

Brown the beef in the oil in a skillet
When beef is browned add tomato sauce and vegetables

Simmer for two hours or until the vegetables are soft and the sauce has thickened.
