2 cups flour
cup buttermilk
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
cup cocoa
1tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 cubes margarine
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup water

Bring to boil margarine, water, cocoa.
Sift dry ingredients into bowl
Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Add Cocoa mixture Soda and buttermilk to dry ingredients, along with egg yolks
Beat egg whites and fold in last
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry.
Cover with Icing for Chocolate Texas PanCake (see recipe)
