1 C. Powdered Sugar 1/2 C. Sugar
1 C. Granulated Sugar reserved
1 C. Butter
1 C. Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs
4 C. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cream of Tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together sugars, butter, oil, eggs and vanilla. Combine all dry ingredients together and slowly stir into the wet mixture. Roll into 1 inch balls or use a small scoop and roll in reserved sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Flatten with the bottom of a glass. Bake 8 minutes.

I usually sprinkle a little extra sugar on the cookies after I flatten them just for---you know---some more sugar!!
It's fun to use colored sanding sugar for special occasions.
