1/2 up shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup flour plus 2 Tbsp
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 cup nuts
1 tsp vanilla
6 oz chocolate chips

Cream shortening and sugars together. Add egg and vanilla. In separate bowl mix flour, salt and soda. Then add flour mixture to wet ingredients. Once mixed well add nuts and chocolate chips

Spoon into cookie sheet; cook at 350 until golden brown, about 10-12 minues.
