Dorothy's Cornbread Dressing Recipe

1 qt. Water
½ c. Butter
1 tsp. Salt
½ c. Onion
Turkey Giblets
1 tsp. Poultry Seasoning
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Parsley
6 Biscuits
2 tsp. Salt
½ pan Cornbread
⅛ tsp. Pepper
2 slices dry Bread
½ c. Celery, chopped

Preheat oven to 350º. Simmer the giblets until tender, reserving 3½ cups of the broth. Dice the giblets. Crumble the breads and add the seasonings and broth. In a saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the onion and celery for 5 minutes and then add them to the bread mixture. Add the eggs and mix well. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350º for one hour. Serves 8.
