Grandma Treat

1/2 c. minced onion
2 tbsp salad oil
1 lb ground beef
2 garlic cloves crushed
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. dried parsley
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp oregano flakes
1 pt. stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
3/4 lb mozzarella cheese thinly sliced (can also use some cheddar cheese)
1 lb cottage cheese
1 egg

Saute onion in oil, add beef and break one egg in. Stir until red is gone. add garlic, pepper, parsley, salt, oregano, stewed tomatoes, and tomato sauce, 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese. Simmer 30 minutes.
Boil noodles in 3 qt water. Drain stand in cold water in 4"x6"x12" pan. Layer in, beginning with meat, ending with meat. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
