22 Oreo cookies
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
1 (4 oz.) sweet German chocolate
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 t. salt
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 t. vanilla

Directions:

Crush oreos and mix with melted butter. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Slice 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream. Cover and freeze.

Melt together chocolate, evaporated milk, salt, sugar and butter. Bring to a boil. Cook 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool. Add vanilla. Spread on top of frozen ice cream. Cover with Cool Whip and freeze at least 4 hours.
