8 cups quick oats
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. honey
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds, hulled
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1 cups raisins
(additional fruits may be added...prunes, apricots, cranberries, etc.)

Melt butter and add brown sugar, honey and vanilla. Gradually stir in oats until they are well coated. Spread on 2 greased cookie sheets. Bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.

Cool and add nuts and fruit. Put in sealed containers. Keeps fresh on shelf for 2 months.
Serve with milk (as cereal) or over vanilla yogurt.
