2 c. water
1 c. raisins
1 stick butter
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda

2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. cream
1/4 c. butter plus 2 tbsp.
1/2 c. butterscotch chips

Boil water and raisins for 10 minutes. Add 1 stick butter, cool some before you add the rest. Sift together flour, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and soda. Also add as much walnuts as you like. Stir all together and bake in jelly roll pan, which has been dusted with flour. Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
For the frosting, mix all ingredients except the butterscotch chips and cook for 2 minutes. Add the butterscotch chips.
