Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

48 medium to large mushrooms
1 package Jimmy Dean sausage
1 pkg cream cheese
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon butter

Remove the stems from the mushrooms after they are washed.
Sauté garlic, green onions and diced mushroom stems in butter for 5 minutes. Add Sausage and cook until well done.
Turn burner off but do not remove pan. Add cream cheese and stir until completely melted.
Remove from heat.
With a teaspoon, fill the mushroom top with the sausage mixture.
Placed stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Serve hot.
Sausage mixture can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
