Ground Beef Stroganoff Recipe

1 lb. ground beef
2 C beef broth
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp salt
2 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
1 (10 3/4 oz) can Cream of Mushroom soup
1/4 C flour
1 cup sour cream
Egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles as directed.

Chop garlic and onion together and set aside. Be sure to finely chop the garlic, but larger pieces of onion are okay.

Cook and drain the ground beef in a large saute pan. Return beef to pan and stir in 1 1/3 C broth, ketchup, and salt. Heat to boiling and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

Stir in cream of mushroom soup, onion, and garlic. Heat to boiling and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.

In tightly sealed container shake remaining broth and flour until mixed. Add to beef mixture gradually and bring to boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Reduce the heat to low and add sour cream. Salt & Pepper to taste and serve over warm noodles.

Stroganoff was always a childhood favorite of mine. My mom would not give me her recipe so I found one and elaborated on that. :) Sorry Mom!
