3 C shortening or 1 1/2 c butter and 1 1/2 c crisco
2 1/4 c white sugar
2 1/4 c brown sugar
3 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp water
6 eggs
7 c flour
3 tsp baking soda
3 tsp salt
1 large bag chocolate chips.

Beat eggs add shortenning and sugar vanilla and water. Combine with dry ingredients and add chocolate chips. Bake 7 minutes or take out before getting too brown. My family likes soft cookies. Bake 375

Some times I split up the dough and add raisins and oatmeal and make both chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal cookies
