1 3/4 C. boiling water
1 C. oats
1/2 C. margarine
2 eggs
1 C. brown sugar
1 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 C. flour
2 1/2 T. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. package chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

In a large bowl, add oatmeal to boiling water and set 10 minutes. Add 1 cube of margarine. Mix in eggs, sugars and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Add 1/2 package chocolate chips. Grease and flour 9x13 cake pan. Pour in cake batter and then sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips and nuts on top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
