2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 slices fresh bread, crumbled
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup shredded raw carrot
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

Break eggs and beat lightly with fork. Add milk, salt, pepper & bread. Beat again. Add onion, carrots, cheese & beef. Mix well. Pack into 9 x 5 loaf pan. Combine brown sugar, ketchup & mustard. Spread over loaf. Bake at 350 F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Let stand 10 minutes.
