Frozen Fudge Ice Cream Dessert Recipe

24 oreo cookies
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 c. cocktail peanuts
2 c. powdered sugar
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
13 oz. evaporated milk
1/2 c. margarine
1 t. vanilla

Crush oreos, melt margarine & mix. Press into greased 9X13 pan. Put in freezer for about 30 minutes. Spoon softened ice cream over crust. Return to freezer. Top with peanuts. Spread fudge sauce over nuts.

Fudge sauce:
Mix powdered sugar, chocolate chips, evaporated milk & margarine in saucepan. Bring to a boil, then cook 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. Cool one hour or more, til cool enough to spread over ice cream without melting it. Return to freezer for several hours.
