4-5 pound boneless beef brisket
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preheat oven to 325º.

Rub meat with salt. Place in ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over meat. Cover tightly and bake for 3 hours or until tender.
