1 Head of Romain Lettuce
1/2 Head Iceberg Lettuce
1 Large Can Mandarin Oranges
1 Bunch Green Onions, Chopped
1 Cup Celery, Chopped
1/2 Cup Sliced Almonds which have been candied

1/2 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
3/4 Cup Salad Oil
2 tsp. Poppy Seeds
4 tbsp. Sugar
1 tbsp. Bermuda Onion, minced
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Dry Mustard

Pur vinegar and oil in blender. Add poppy seeds, sugar, minced Bermuda onion, salt, and dry mustard. Whirl for a few seconds to blend. Or you can place ingredients in a pint jar and shake. Refrigerate. The flavor improves if dressing is made several hours in advance.

To candy almonds put 1/2 cup white sugar in fry pan, add almonds and stir over medium high hea until sugar melts and almonds are coated. Cool on wax paper.
