1 pkg. chocolate cake mix 14 oz. pkg. caramels 1/3 c. milk 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix cake mix according to box directions and pour half of batter into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake 20 minutes. Over medium heat, melt caramels, milk and butter in saucepan. Punch holes in hot cake with end of a wooden spoon. Pour melted mixture over top. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Spoon on remaining batter. Bake another 30 minutes. Cool completely in pan.
