1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
2/3 cup raw minute rice
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste

1 can tomato soup
Approximately 8-10 strips of raw bacon

Combine all of the ingredients for the meatballs.
Form into medium sized balls and place in a baking dish.
Place a bacon strip, which has been cut in half, over each meatball, in a crisscross pattern.
Mix the tomato soup in a side dish with 1 tsp of sugar.
Pour the soup mixture over the meatballs.
Bake at 400 for about 45 minutes.

All of us Jones kids grew-up with this dish. It is like eating meatloaf but with an added taste of the bacon and soup on top. Yummy!
