1 (2 pound) pkg frozen hashbrown potatoes, thawed
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

2 cups corn flakes, crushed
1/4 cup butter, melted

Mix first 8 ingredients and pour into 9x13 dish, which has been lightly greased with butter. Mix corn flakes and melted butter. Put on top of casserole. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
