16 oz cream cheese
2/3 cup granulated sugar
3 tbs amaretto or more!
3 tbs kahlua or more!
1 tsp vanilla
16 oz cool whip
48 lady fingers
1 ½ c strong coffee (you can use instant)
½ cup cocoa
2 tbs powdered sugar
4 tbs sliced almonds

Beat cream cheese and sugar.
Add liquor and vanilla.
Fold in cool whip.
Arrange 24 lady fingers in bottom of 13x9 pan.
Sprinkle with ½ of coffee.
Top with ½ of cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with ½ of cocoa & powdered sugar.

Repeat layers

Garnish with almonds

Refrigerate 4 hrs or overnight

I have been told by "tiramusu connoisseurs" that this is the best they've ever had including the "authentic" kind! It is sooo easy and even better the next day if it lasts that long! NOTE: recipe can be halved. Use 8x8 pan--still use 3 tbs each of liquer.
