6 large potatoes
6 slices of bacon
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water

Boil potatoes in skins until done. Peel and cut into cubes. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon, add onion to bacon grease and cook until golden brown.
Mix flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, mustard and pepper in with the onion and bacon drippings. Stir in vinegar and water gradually. Bring mixture to a boil stirring constantly, boil 1 minute. Pour over cubed potatoes. Crumble bacon and toss just before serving. Serve warm or cold.
