2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 can (14.5 ounces) chopped tomatoes
1 can each (15 ounces) of black beans, red kidney beans, and white northern beans (drained and rinsed)
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Saute onion and pepper for 5 minutes.

Stir in spices and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Garnish with shredded cheese and chopped onions (optional).
