2 cups shortening 5 cups flour 2 teaspoons salt 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1 egg
In a large bowl cream together shortening, flour and salt using a pastry blender to cut in. In a 2 cup measuring cup mix 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 egg and enough cold water to bring it to 1 cup. Add to flour mixture and work until mixed. Roll out into circles for pie crusts.
