2 sticks unsalted butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. rolled oats (grind lightly in food processor)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350.

Cream butter in large bowl. Add both sugars and beat on
medium for two minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well
after each addition. Add lemon juice and vanilla; mix well.

In a separate bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Add to
creamed mixture and stir well to blend. Add chips and nuts;
stir to combine.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Using a mini ice
cream scoop, drop on baking pans 3 inches apart. Bake 14-
18 minutes or until lighty browned around the edges. Cool five
minutes on pan, then remove and cool completely.

Pulse the rolled oats in the food processor before starting. For
bet results, mix dough and chill overnight before baking.
