1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter or lard
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
2 cups flour
2 cups coconut
2 cups oatmeal
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt

Cream sugars and butter. Add beaten eggs. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Shape into teaspoon size balls and then flatten with fork dipped in cold water. Bake until golden brown.
