6 c flour
ĺ t salt
1 T sugar
1 small cake yeast
2 c (1#) plus 1 T Spry [shortening]
3 egg yolks and 1 whole egg
1 pint sour cream

1 c sugar
1 lb ground walnuts
1 t butter
little sweet cream to mix

Mix like pie crust [mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening, then add eggs and sour cream all together and mix just until blended]. Set in refrigerator overnight. Roll out on sugared board to ľ inch thick. Cut into 1 Ĺ by 1 Ĺ inch squares. Place Ĺ teaspoon filling in center. Roll and shape into horns [press opposite corners together, one overtop the other, in center]. Bake at 400ļ until light brown.
