1c Miniature Marshmallows
2c frozen Strawberries in syrup, thawed
1 pkg strawberry flavored gelatin
2 1/4c flour
1 1/2c sugar
1/2c shortening
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1c milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs

Preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom only of 13 x 9 inch pan. Place marshmallows in pan. Combine thawed strawberries and gelatin. Stir, set aside. Combine flour, sugar, shortening, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Pour batter over marshmallows in pan. Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown or toothpick inserted comes out clean.
