3/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks

3 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves

1/2 c. milk

1 tsp. lemon extract
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1 lb. pecans, chopped
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1 lb. white raisins

3 egg whites, beaten

Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks one at a time.

Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and flour mixture alternately. Mix in extracts.

Fold in fruit and nuts. Fold in beaten egg whites.

Spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 350. 12 dozen cookies.
