1/3 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups milk

Directions:

Mix first three ingredients and add 1 1/4 cups milk. Bring to a boil. Turn heat to medium and cook until thickened. Serve over biscuits.

This recipe comes from my husband's grandmother. He, and most of his siblings and cousins, remember this being served every Sunday after church. It is better than you might think---very good! His grandmother, Della Layne Cox, was born in 1890 and died in 1960.
