1 T. vinegar in 1 cup measuring cup
add evaporated milk to fill cup

Beat-
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar- beat till fluffy

Add
2 beaten eggs
1tsp. vanilla

Sift-
2 1/2 c. flour
1tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Butter Frosting
1/OT2 c. Melted butter (1 cube) cook in small sauce pan watch carefully. cook until brown DO NOT SCORCH combine with:
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2-4 Tbs. boiling water
Beat smooth spread on cookies

Add alternately- dry ingredients with milk.
Stir in- 1 Cup chopped nuts

Bake 350º - 10 to 12 minute
