9 slices thick sliced white bread
2 1/4 cup grated sharp cheese
3/4 pound brown and serve sausages (or ground sausage) I use the reduced fat variety.

5 eggs
2 1/4 cup milk
3/4 tsp. mustard

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a large glass lasagna pan place the bread cubes and cheese. Cover with the browned and drained sausage. Beat the eggs and milk and mustard. Pour evenly over the bread mixture. Cover and place in the refrigerator and let it stand over night.

In the morning, combine the soup and milk and pour over the casserole. Bake at 300º for about an hour until golden and set.

This was a favorite of my family when I was growing up. We always requested it for our birthday breakfast. My kids are the same way! This recipe works well for a large crowd and can be easily made ahead. I always make it for Christmas morning!
