2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sour milk
2 tsp baking sode in 1 c. hot water
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in egg. Mix in milk, water mixture. Sift in flour mixture. Pour into greased pan.
